Our faculty includes Desta Sheridan, Matthew Wozniak, and David Moffitt.
Our music teachers offer the current private lessons as follows:
Desta Sheridan- Basic Piano / Vocal

Desta Sheridan has been performing in the arts her entire life. She has performed everywhere from local theatres and theme parks to cruise ships and Broadway. Her earliest training started in the dance studio and with piano lessons. By the age of 13 she began serious vocal training to pursue her passion for singing. She also added other music training to her repertoire that included classical guitar, clarinet and saxophone.
Desta continued her training in the arts after making the “big move” to New York City, where she was cast in the Tony and Grammy award nominated Broadway production of “Hello, Dolly!” starring Carol Channing. She also performed in the Broadway National Tours of “Funny Girl” (starring Debbie Gibson), “Hello, Dolly!” starring Carol Channing, and the musical “Big” (based on the Tom Hanks movie), where she understudied and performed the role of Josh’s mother. Internationally, she performed in the Harold Prince/Susan Stroman Tony Award winning production of “Showboat” at the Prince Edward Theatre in London’s famous West End.
Since moving to Florida in 2000, Desta has been performing in Equity roles at Walt Disney World. Notably, she performed for 8 years in the comedic role of Dolly Drew in the long-running dinner show, “The Hoop-Dee-Doo Revue”, at the Fort Wilderness Resort. Desta has also been a musical theatre choreographer and dance teacher for almost 10 years, and is pleased to be able to share her knowledge and talent with the voice and piano students at Raskin Music School as well.

David Moffitt- Violin, Cello, Banjo / Suzuki Violin/Basic Drums
David Moffitt graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Music in violin performance, composition and music education. He is also certified to teach books 1 through 4 of the Suzuki method. He taught music in the public schools for 7 years. He taught violin, cello, viola and guitar at the Suzuki Institute in Maitland for 5 years. David has attended Suzuki courses at the University of Miami and Converse College in South Carolina.
David is currently offering Violin lessons to students age 6 and up.

Matthew Wozniak- Piano/Trumpet / Guitar
Matthew began his lifelong obsession with music at the age of four, when he joined the children's choir at St. Brigid's church in Westbury, NY. By the age of five, he was already lead soprano in the adult choir.
Matthew soon found the opportunity to study with former pop star Tommy Thorrell and nationally recognized trumpet player Dr. Malcolm Beauchamp. He achieved his Bachelor's of Science in Music Theory and Composition at the State University of New York at New Paltz. This is where he had the opportunity to study with the majority of Hudson Valley Philharmonic, especially Dr. William McCann. He also studied his compositional technique with Dr. Ping Jin.
Since graduation, he has taught pre-school music exploration, and private lessons for Voice, Guitar, Piano and Trumpet, spreading his joy of music to a new generation. For more information on Matthew, please contact him at 407-721-1174.
Bradley Bass- Piano/Violin (Suzuki Methods as well)

Bradley is currently offering the following lessons on Monday, Wednesday & Friday :

Bradley began piano lessons at the age of 5. In high school, she studied with Shearon Horton, a graduate of Peabody Conservatory. Bradley participated in various piano festivals and competitions throughout Louisiana and won several state competitions. She began to study violin at the age of 11 and became a Suzuki certified and accredited violinist and teacher in 2006. Bradley has earned a Bachelor degree of Music in Piano Performance from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2009. She taught private piano lessons at the Community Music School while attending college and also at the Music Academy for the Performing Arts in Mandeville, Louisiana. Bradley was recently president of the Louisiana Federation of Music Clubs in 2009. She has taught private piano and violin lessons professionally for the past 5 years and judged for various piano competitions throughout Louisiana. Her students have ranged from age 3 to older adults, and she is experienced in teaching knowledge in music theory, as well as piano and violin. Her relational and enthusiastic style in teaching has motivated her students to grow as musicians and as people.
