Kelly began her dance training with Lillich's School of Dance at age five. At the age of twelve, she became an apprentice dancer with Southern Ballet Theatre (Orlando Ballet) in Orlando, Florida.

Kelly has also trained with the Boston Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, and was coached by Xiao Mi Li in roles such as the Dying Swan and Le Corsaire.

At age 17, she joined the state touring company Dance Alive! in Gainesville, FL. As a soloist with Dance Alive!, she performed such roles as the Blue Bird in Sleeping Beauty, the Dew Drop Fairy in the Nutcracker, Rite of Spring and George Balanchine's Apollo. After a year of touring the southern US with Dance Alive!, she rejoined Southern Ballet Theatre (Orlando Ballet), she performed in such ballets as Giselle, Cinderella and Con Amore.

Kelly has currently performed as the Snow Queen in the Nutcracker and in Cinderella with the Fedotov Ballet Company while completing her Masters Degree in Economics at UCF. Kelly also performed in a volunteer fundraiser for the Children Affected by Aids Foundation with Gregg Ortiz and other students from Raskin Dance Studios.
