Eddie Bravo began his infatuation with dance and entertainment at a very young age. As a child, he religiously watched Soul Train and music video's on MTV mimicking everything he saw. Eddie earned much of his dance training on the streets of New York before moving to Florida in 2001. Up until 2004 Eddie remained a street dancer until he enrolled as a student at Raskin Dance Studios at the age of 15. Within the following year Eddie was introduced to competitive dancing at Urban Jamm dance convention as a part of Raskin Dance Studio's competition team "Overload" under the direction of Lindsay Mackail. As a senior in high school, in 2006 Eddie began teaching hip hop and choreographing dance numbers for Osceola High School's Drama department under the direction of Nathan Uhrig. It was this year that Eddie received a Superior rating for his dance sequence in Nina in the Morning from the International Thespian Society at the district level and was awarded an Excellent rating at the state competition. Winning first place national champions at JamFest Cheer and Dance Competition performing with "Boiling Point" was another accomplishment for the young dancer the same year. After graduation in 2007, Eddie prepared to be part of the opening staff at Liberty High School in Kissimmee as the head choreographer and dance coordinator for the Drama department and the "X-Clusive hip hop dance team." He began incorporating such styles as hip hop, jazz funk, tap, modern, salsa, vogue and ballet into his choreography allowing him to create his own unique dance style. It was at Liberty High, Eddie choreographed the musical AIDA which had a major impact on the community landing its story into the pages of the Orlando Sentinel adn other local newspapers. Eddie continued to dance throughout the Central Florida area performing for the "Runway for a Cure Fashion Show" as well as a dance performer for KDS Music Group (of Alicia Keys, Britney Spears, AKON and more). Eddie continues to choreograph and perform around the state of Florida and is now back at the place where it all began, Raskin Dance Studios, not just taking classed but teaching them as well. Eddie is ecstatic to be teaching at the very same place he learned so much from, and is looking forward to what the future holds within his career.
